Question 1

Who marks my writing?

Accepted Answer

A teacher marks it. You get back a marked PDF and a note from your teacher.

Question 2

How do speaking sessions work?

Accepted Answer

You pick an open 30-minute slot from your teacher's calendar and join a live video call at that time. You can reschedule or cancel from the app before the session starts.

Question 3

Will Boo tell me my band score?

Accepted Answer

Full mock exams end with an indicative band based on the public IELTS conversion table. Shorter practice shows your accuracy instead, because one part alone cannot predict a band.

Question 4

Are the games really useful for IELTS?

Accepted Answer

They are for days when focus is low. Each game runs on vocabulary, grammar or reading, so a break still counts. Tests and teacher feedback matter more.

Question 5

How much does Boo cost?

Accepted Answer

Practice is free during early access. Teacher time is paid with credits: a writing review is 50 credits and a speaking session is 100 credits. Credits start at 100 for $20.

Question 6

When can I start?

Accepted Answer

Places open in small groups, so every learner gets teacher time. Join the list and you will hear by email.

Question 7

How do I pay for credits?

Accepted Answer

By bank transfer for now. The credits appear in your account once the payment arrives. Packs are $20 for 100 credits, $50 for 300 and $100 for 650.

Question 8

What are diamonds?

Accepted Answer

A reward for checked practice. Spend them on Boo outfits, kart paints, drivers and streak freezes. No study content is sold for diamonds.

Question 9

What do you do with my email?

Accepted Answer

We use it to send your invite and a few updates about Boo. We never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Question 10

Is Boo for Academic or General Training?

Accepted Answer

IELTS Academic. The reading and writing practice follows the Academic test. Vocabulary, grammar and speaking practice suit either test.

Question 11

What level do I need to start?

Accepted Answer

Any level. A short starting check shows where to begin, and the daily plan fits the minutes you have each day.

Question 12

What do I need to use Boo?

Accepted Answer

A modern browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.

Question 13

Is the app in my language?

Accepted Answer

The practice itself is in English, because the test is in English. This website is available in several languages, so you can read about Boo in yours.

Question 14

Is Boo an official IELTS product?

Accepted Answer

No. Boo is an independent practice service. Its tests follow the IELTS Academic format and timing, but a practice result is not an official score or a guarantee of one.
